What is the ICC? 

ICC International Cricket Council is the Governing body of cricket & its control and Govern over Cricket. It was started on 15, june1909 in London's lord. 

There are many functions International Cricket Council (ICC) performs such as International Cricket Council is to Organize a World Cup Tournament such as the one day World Cup, the T20 World cup, etc.

 it appoints Match referees and umpires to the cricket to save from injustice and unfairness in the cricket matches. One of the most important functions of the International Cricket Council is to avoid corruption, Match fixings, etc.

History Of (ICC) International Cricket Council?

ICC International Cricket Council is the Governing body of cricket & its control over Cricket. the old name of ICC is the imperial cricket council but later changed to International Cricket Council (ICC).
 It was started on 15, june1909 in London's lord.

 At the Starting of the International Cricket Council, there were only three members of ICC Which are England, South Africa & Australia. At that time there was a condition of the International Cricket Council that all the members of Icc should be common-wealth & should come under British rule. 

These conditions are applied for a long time and after that in 1926, three more countries are added to the International Cricket Council which are India, West indies & new Zealand and a total number of countries are six countries of the International Cricket Council.

After the establishment of Pakistan in 1947 and in 1957 Pakistan also become a member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) now the total countries are seven. there are several changes in International Cricket Council and the rule of common-wealth are removed in 1965.in 1961 Sri Lanka joins International Cricket Council and becomes the Seventh member of the ICC. 

After that four more countries joined International Cricket Council such countries are Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Ireland, Afghanistan, and now twelve 12 permanent members of (ICC)International Cricket Council. Now the Figure of members is 12 Permanent members and 92 associate members, and the total number of members is 104.
